The Rahma Basketball League (RBL) is a community-based youth sports initiative operated by the Rahma Community & Youth Centre (RCYC). The league was created to provide young people with a safe, structured, and positive space to stay active, build skills, and connect with peers through organized basketball.
Through teamwork, healthy competition, and mentorship, participants strengthen discipline, confidence, communication, and leadership while building respectful relationships on and off the court. Youth are supported by coaches, volunteers, and positive role models who encourage personal growth, accountability, and strong character.
Program Goals
The Rahma Basketball League aims to:

Yesterday`s youth halaqa at the Rahma Community Centre was a vibrant blend of fun, sport, learning, and food. The event kicked off with engaging sports activities, where the youth enjoyed games and team sports, fostering teamwork and physical fitness.
The learning segment featured an interactive session, where participants explored various topics, deepening their understanding and connection to their faith. Enthusiastic discussions and insightful reflections made this part both educational and inspiring.
Following the learning activities, everyone gathered for a delicious meal. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and conversation, as the youth bonded over shared experiences and new friendships.
Overall, the halaqa was a wonderful mix of activities that nurtured the mind, body, and soul, leaving everyone looking forward to the next gathering.
