Rising Stars Basketball (RSB) at Rahma Community & Youth Centre gives ages 10–14 structured skills training, fitness and a safe, fun space to build friendships.
RSB focuses on confidence-building, teamwork, and basic skill development through age-appropriate drills, guided coaching, and supportive group activities.
Rising Stars Basketball (RSB) is a youth basketball training and skill-development program operated by the Rahma Community & Youth Centre (RCYC). The program provides younger youth (ages 10–14) with a safe, structured, and encouraging space to learn basketball fundamentals, stay active, and build positive friendships.
Program Goals
RSB aims to:
- Promote healthy activity and youth well-being
- Encourage respect, sportsmanship, and fair play
- Teach fundamental basketball skills and coordination
- Create a welcoming environment for youth of all backgrounds
- Build confidence, teamwork, and positive participation

Yesterday`s youth halaqa at the Rahma Community Centre was a vibrant blend of fun, sport, learning, and food. The event kicked off with engaging sports activities, where the youth enjoyed games and team sports, fostering teamwork and physical fitness.
The learning segment featured an interactive session, where participants explored various topics, deepening their understanding and connection to their faith. Enthusiastic discussions and insightful reflections made this part both educational and inspiring.
Following the learning activities, everyone gathered for a delicious meal. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and conversation, as the youth bonded over shared experiences and new friendships.
Overall, the halaqa was a wonderful mix of activities that nurtured the mind, body, and soul, leaving everyone looking forward to the next gathering.
